Descripción del trabajoBachelor's degree in biomedical engineering, Information Technology, or related field 4+ years of experience in a healthcare setting. Strong knowledge of biomedical systems and IT infrastructure Excellent problem-solving and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Must pass Federal background check and drug screen. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Must have a valid United States driver's license.
Biomedical Systems Information Technology Specialist
Long Beach, CA
Hourly Rate : $40.00 -$50.00
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Systems Information Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both biomedical systems and information technology. The work will be focused on the following : PACS, DICOM, HL7, Access Control List ACL, network security, VLAN configuration, EMR projects (CERNER), subnetting, IP addressing, network troubleshooting, new equipment installation and integration support, server maintenance, and maintaining a variety of biomedical equipment, systems and devices within the healthcare space.
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their technological needs and requirements
- Design, implement, and maintain technology systems that support biomedical equipment and devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to biomedical systems and IT infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in healthcare IT
- Train and support end users on the use of technology systems
