About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

• Must pass EKG exam.
• Experience in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias required.
• Experience in medical surgical / telemetry preferred.

Description :

The role involves providing care to adult and geriatric patients.

Patient population includes individuals with diabetes, renal issues, COPD, abdominal rule outs, and cancer patients not receiving current chemotherapy.

This unit does not care for surgical patients.

The nurse will maintain ratios of 1 : 6.

Will need to float within the service line to meet facility needs.

Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.

On-call requirements are not applicable for this position.

The candidate will possess skills in various areas, including blood product administration, central line management, non-invasive airway management, and wound care.

The environment includes interdisciplinary support from various medical teams.

Bedside procedures may include thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube insertion.

Completion of labs and modules is required prior to the start date for compliance.
