Job Description

Position : Sr Director of Engineering

Location : Oak Forest, IL 60452

Travel : Up to 50% (Atlanta, GA area for the next 3 years)

The Senior Director of Engineering is a key strategic leader responsible for overseeing all engineering functions that support the company’s manufacturing operations, capital projects, and long-term growth initiatives. This role will guide the development of engineering standards, lead modernization efforts, and drive process improvements across multiple facilities to enhance safety, quality, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and develop a high-performing, multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Define and execute engineering standards, capital plans, and continuous improvement initiatives across all plants.
• Oversee large-scale capital projects ($2.5M- $30M+), ensuring alignment with business strategy and operational needs.
• Drive innovation through the evaluation and implementation of new technologies and process optimizations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Partner with Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to support strategic growth and expansion projects.
