Patient Account Associate

A company is looking for a Patient Account Associate responsible for managing billing, payment posting, and collections within the Revenue Cycle.

Key Responsibilities

Manage billing, payment posting, and collection of accounts receivable for professional and hospital claims

Evaluate and secure appropriate financial resources for patients to maximize reimbursement

Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, payors, physicians, and patients regarding account status

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of one year of experience in revenue cycle functions such as billing and claim follow-up

Completion of all revenue cycle training within 12 months of hire

Proficiency in Microsoft software and solid computer skills

Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a detail-oriented environment
