Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in Sterling Heights, MI, supporting K-12 students with a focus on elementary caseloads. This position offers both full-time and part-time schedules within a school setting and is contracted for the upcoming school year (NSY). The role involves direct onsite service delivery with opportunities to engage in teletherapy as needed.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide speech and language assessments, diagnosis, and individualized therapy to students primarily in elementary grades.
  • Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement effective communication intervention plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and comply with state and federal regulations.
  • Participate in team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications :

  • Hold a valid Michigan Speech Language Pathologist license.
  • Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
  • Experience working within professional school settings.
  • Skills in pediatrics, teletherapy, and healthcare-based speech therapy are advantageous.
  • Candidates who are in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) under supervision also encouraged to apply.
