Safety Specialist – Multi-Site Industrial Safety & Compliance Expert

Join our team as a Safety Specialist and make a measurable impact on workplace safety across multiple industrial sites. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about OSHA compliance , risk management , and employee safety training . You’ll serve as a trusted advisor, analyzing safety trends, implementing best practices, and fostering a strong safety culture throughout the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Safety Programs : Champion the Division Safety Plan to align with corporate goals and regulatory standards.

Ensure OSHA Compliance : Monitor adherence to Federal, State, and Local safety regulations across multiple locations.

Conduct Safety Audits & Risk Assessments : Identify hazards, recommend corrective actions, and track improvements.

Incident Investigation & Reporting : Perform root cause analysis, maintain accurate OSHA recordkeeping , and deliver detailed reports.

Develop Safety Policies & Training : Create and deliver engaging workplace safety training programs for employees and contractors.

Collaborate Across Teams : Work with operations, contractors, and management to drive continuous improvement in safety performance .

Analyze Safety Data : Identify trends, implement risk mitigation strategies , and measure program effectiveness.

Promote PPE Compliance : Ensure proper selection and availability of personal protective equipment .

Qualifications

Experience in industrial safety , manufacturing safety , or EHS (Environmental Health & Safety) roles.

Strong knowledge of OSHA standards , safety regulations, and compliance requirements.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and safety management software.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to travel up to 60% (ground and air) and manage multi-site operations.

Education & Certifications

Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management , Occupational Health , or Environmental Health & Safety (or actively pursuing).

Preferred certifications : CSP , ASP , GSP , CIH .

Physical Requirements

Ability to wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, FR clothing, boots, gloves, hearing protection).

Lift up to 30 lbs, tolerate noise and temperature variations, climb, and drive as needed.
