Salary : $18.50

A Driving Instructor at Capabilities works with individuals with and without disabilities age 16+ to help them learn the skills necessary to get their learners permit and / or drivers license.

DESCRIPTION

You get to work one-on-one with people to teach traffic laws, signs, responsibility, safety, and build confidence while they are on-the-road. When they are ready to test, you accompany them to the testing site to support them and celebrate their achievements. Imagine this :

The door to the BMV opens and a newly licensed driver that you helped runs toward you with a big smile on their face they passed! You just helped open a door to a world of new opportunities for them.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma / GED or above.
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute and navigate a company-issued laptop.
  • A clean driving record and ability to teach people to drive in company vehicles.
  • Ability to pass a background and drug screening (a list of the disqualifying offenses can be provided if needed).
