DT-Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel Clinic Physical Therapist for a travel job in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Physical Therapist – Santa Fe Indian Health Center

Location : Santa Fe, NM (with travel to Cochiti, San Felipe, and Santa Clara clinics as needed)

Contract Term : One year with four one-year options

Proposal Due Date : November 21

Overview

Provide full-time Physical Therapy services at the Santa Fe Indian Health Center (SFIHC). The work is primarily outpatient orthopedic, with some inpatient duties.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and treat patients using current PT standards.
  • Serve as the sole PT, supported by a PT Tech Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 : 30 pm.
  • Supervise and co-sign PT Tech documentation.
  • Consult with physicians regarding braces, DME, and referrals.
  • Document accurately in paper and electronic health records.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Maintain professional conduct and clinic organization.
  • Comply with IHS and SFIHC policies.

    • Qualifications

  • Doctoral or Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited APTA program.
  • Current, valid, unrestricted PT license in any U.S. state or territory.
  • Current BLS certification.
  • Valid driver’s license (if operating GSA vehicle).
  • Experience with Native American populations preferred.

    • Schedule

    Monday – Friday, 8 : 00 am – 4 : 30 pm. No overtime authorized.
