Senior Manager, Pricing And Business Analytics Cell Culture
The Senior Manager, Pricing and Business Analytics Cell Culture, drives the strategy and execution of pricing optimization, business analytics, and resource efficiency for Cell Culture products. This role ensures data-driven decision-making, revenue growth, and operational excellence while aligning with broader organizational goals. Leading a team, the manager fosters collaboration across Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Sales to refine pricing strategies and enhance profitability.
This position reports to the Vice President Product Management, Cell Culture Media and is part of the Cell Culture Media team located in Logan, UT, and will be an on-site role. Alternate locations or remote work will be considered for exceptionally qualified candidates.
What you will do :
- Develop and implement global pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market trends, collaborating with Finance, Product Management, Supply Chain, and Sales to refine pricing models, discounting structures, and revenue optimization efforts.
- Lead and mentor the Quotation and Business Resource Analytics teams, ensuring professional growth and high performance.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of analytical tools, dashboards, and reports using Qlik, SFDC, SQL, Excel, and Tableau.
- Analyze product performance across sales channels, identifying pricing, manufacturing, and strategy adjustments and revenue opportunities.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure analytics effectiveness and business impact. Grow the analytics team capabilities and expand areas of analysis.
- Manage operational processes, including :
Filemaker Automated labor tracking.
Production Routes Establishing and maintaining workflows.Ensure data accuracy, process improvements, and compliance with financial and regulatory standards.Who you are :
Bachelor's Degree in Data Analytics, Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Business, Finance, or a related field. (Master's Degree or PhD in a related field preferred.)7+ years of experience in pricing strategy, business analytics, or financial modeling.Proven leadership and communication experience, including team management and cross-functional collaboration.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into strategic insights.Expertise in pricing methodologies, cost modeling, and revenue optimization.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SQL, and business intelligence tools (Tableau, SFDC, Qlik, Power BI, etc.).Ability to manage multiple projects, teams, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical / Environment Requirements :
Ability to travel 10% of the time globally based on business needsMust have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving recordAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 25lb in an office environment.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in :
