We are looking for a Business Litigation Paralegal who will support our Atlanta‑based trial team in the preparation, filing, and management of complex commercial disputes. This includes coordinating e‑discovery, drafting pleadings, maintaining litigation databases, and ensuring every deadline is met. The role is ideal for a detail‑oriented legal professional eager to grow in a collaborative, technology‑driven environment. This position offers mentorship from seasoned trial attorneys, potential leadership of litigation‑support staff, and direct exposure to high‑stakes matters for major corporate clients.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive case files, indices, and chronologies
- Assemble and organize materials for attorney and client review
- Utilize word‑processing, spreadsheet, database, and imaging tools for discovery and case management
- Assist in document production : review for privilege, tag and redact, create privilege / redaction logs, and manage production logistics and quality control
- Guide clients on defensible ESI preservation and collection processes
- Interact with e‑discovery vendors and oversee vendor deliverables
- Draft correspondence, memoranda, and pleadings
- Perform investigative and background research, including witness location and legal authority gathering
- Create and maintain litigation databases for documents and information
- Review and analyze documents, data, and depositions as required by attorneys or clients
- Assist at and in preparation for depositions of fact and expert witnesses
- Coordinate preparation and filing of motions and briefs, including proofreading, cite‑checking, exhibit assembly, and service
- Assist at and with preparation for trial : gather exhibits, prepare witness binders, handle deposition designations, create electronic presentations, and coordinate with litigation‑support personnel
- Organize trial war rooms and manage litigation‑support resources
- Provide proactive management of larger cases by coordinating support efforts and preparing for upcoming events
Qualifications : Required :
Bachelor’s degree or ABA‑approved paralegal certificate5+ years of paralegal experience in complex business litigationProficiency with litigation‑support software, document‑review platforms, and Microsoft OfficeKnowledge of e‑discovery rules, ESI preservation, privilege review, and production protocolsStrong writing, research, and analytical skillsExcellent organizational and interpersonal abilities with capacity to manage multiple deadlinesAbility to meet a 1,500 annual billable‑hour target (overtime excluded)Preferred :
Experience supervising or mentoring junior litigation‑support staffFamiliarity with courtroom presentation software and trial graphics toolsBackground managing high‑volume, multi‑party commercial cases in federal and state courtsCareer Growth :
