The position of Account Director, on our Strategic Services team, requires skills to build strong account satisfaction, retention, growth and reference-ability for one or more high priority accounts within our digital marketing agency. Key responsibilities include leading the development of best-in-class marketing solutions for clients including building strong client relationships through regular, proactive, value-added communication. This person must exhibit the core skill of the ability to grow their accounts, with a proven track record of client retention and growth.

Reports to : SVP, Strategic Services
RESPONSIBILITIES :
Lead and manage 100% of client communications with a deep understanding of the project :  mainly website development and site buildsActively participate in team meetings, providing insight in areas of difficultyDevelop such a relationship with a client that you are the trusted advisor / partner – you’re thinking about their business from a strategic approach. You are able to ask them for referralsProactive account planningProactively push work through the agencyParticipate regularly in the pitch process / presentationsActively find growth opportunities with your clients and step in where there are issues with scope creepFully understand the Primacy products / services and identify opportunitiesResponsible for the organic growth of current clientsRemain in tune with clients and sense issues before they ariseHold poise and patience but stay firm in challenging client situations and manage those situations to resolutionRemain aware of billing situation of clientsUse your own network or look for new opportunities to broaden your own networkRemain diligent about changes in the digital marketing landscape, be vocal about them with clients, and make it actionableOrganize and lead large team and client meetings (ideation sessions, department meetings, trainings, etc.)What it takes to succeed in this role
QUALIFICATIONS :
5+ years of Account Management digital marketing experience with agency backgroundExperience in one of our core industries : financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, higher educationUnderstanding of website development, marketing, measurement and analytics, content management, digital marketing and internet technologyProficiency in writing project overviewsSelf-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environmentNatural relationship builder with integrity, reliability and maturityAbility to prioritize among competing tasksCritical thinking and problem solving skillsThe Perks :
