Compensation Hourly Pay Rate : $85 / hr Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1780 - $1910 ER RN Job Details – Carlsbad, NM Location : Carlsbad, New Mexico 88220 Assignment Length : 13-week travel contract Start Date : December 1, 2025 End Date : March 2, 2026 Shift : Nights, 6 : 30pm – 7 : 00am (12-hour shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Employment Type : Travel nursing, On-Site Floating and Call : Required EMR System : MedHost (EDIS) Patient Ratio : 4 : 1 Emergency Room Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications ENPC and NRP certifications preferred Fingerprinting required for all New Mexico healthcare travelers Strong critical thinking and organizational skills Ability to float to other clinical units as needed Full uniform required (no specific scrub color) ER Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department Utilize the Nursing Process for patient assessment, planning, and intervention Demonstrate leadership and sound clinical judgment in a fast-paced healthcare setting Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings to the healthcare team Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions Accurately document patient care in the EMR system Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training Delegate and supervise patient care based on staff experience and education Adhere to safety standards, infection control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives Participate in call rotation and float to other clinical units as required Apply now to join our healthcare team in Carlsbad, NM and take the next step in your emergency nursing career!
