Position Summary Information Job Description Summary Promotes coffee consumption by educating customers; sells coffee; conducts coffee grinding and operates brewing equipment, accessories, and supplies; prepares and serves a variety of coffee drinks, along with premade food items. Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Minimum three (3) months related experience
  • Valid Food Handler Certificate required

  • Available to work flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or special events
  • Meet operating policies and standards, including providing quality beverages and food products, cash handling and safety and security, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Prepare food and beverages to standard recipes or customized for customers, including recipe changes such as temperature, quantity of ingredients or substituted ingredients
  • Ability to perform many different tasks within the location during each shift
  • Ability to learn quickly
  • Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • One (1) or more years of related experience.
  • Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Certification

Job Duty Follows health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products. Job Duty Itemizes and totals takeout transaction on cash register and accepts payment. Job Duty Follows DMC’s cash handling procedures and cash register policies. Job Duty Stocks and replenishes merchandise and rotates stock. Job Duty Performs cleaning tasks as assigned in daily opening and/or closing duties to maintain cleanliness standards. Job Duty Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines. Job Duty Reports potentially unsafe conditions. Job Duty Treats people with respect; keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works with integrity and ethically; upholds organizational values. Job Duty Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
