Process Engineer

Hiring for a Process Engineer in Westfield!

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to support the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing operations in our aerospace manufacturing environment. This role plays a critical part in improving manufacturing efficiency, reducing costs, enhancing sustainability, and maximizing profitability while maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure full compliance with all safety regulations and standards; actively participate in and support a strong safety culture, including proper use of PPE
• Create, configure, and optimize manufacturing processes from concept through startup and certification
• Develop shop routers and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
• Assess and analyze processes by taking measurements and interpreting data
• Gather, organize, and analyze manufacturing and process data as required
• Provide technical support for in-process issues on the shop floor
• Develop best practices, standard routines, and innovative solutions to improve production rates and product quality
• Create and maintain process documentation and operating instructions
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, efficiency, and cost savings
• Follow 6S procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $130000.00 / yr.
