Laundry Aide Position

Join us at Marklund in Elgin as we hire a full-time Laundry Aide. Make a difference in the lives of others and love your job! We are looking for an exceptional candidate to join our team at Marklund's Wasmond Center in Elgin, IL. The hourly rate for this position is $15.25 / hour with a schedule of 5-days a week and rotating weekends from 8a-4p or 9a-5p. Candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of the job and meet its functional and environmental requirements.

Marklund is a nonprofit organization that provides residential, educational and therapy services to infants, children, teens and adults with serious and profound developmental disabilities and special healthcare needs. With three residential locations, it is currently home to nearly 178 residents. The Marklund Day School offers Multi-Needs and Life Skills programs for children and young adults with multiple medical needs, and those diagnosed on the autism spectrum. In addition, our Community Day Services program at each site is a therapeutic day program for adults who reside at Marklund and those who come in from the community.
