As a Security Professional with Allied Universal at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will play a vital role in access control, monitoring entry points, and helping to deter security-related incidents by conducting regular patrols. Your presence and exceptional customer service will contribute to a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors. This is primarily a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a vehicle while upholding our company values of reliability, agility, and integrity. What You'll Do :

  • Control access to the premises by verifying credentials and granting entry to authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles in a manufacturing and industrial environment.
  • Monitor entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility and perimeter to observe for security-related concerns or policy violations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
  • Document all incidents, observations, and interactions according to Allied Universal and client site procedures.
  • Provide customer service by assisting employees, visitors, and contractors with inquiries related to access procedures and site policies.
  • Collaborate with site staff and emergency services as needed during emergency response activities and / or drills.
  • Report maintenance issues and hazards observed during patrols to the appropriate personnel.
  • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Experience with access control and / or badge systems is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
