Descripción del trabajoMediClear or equivalent HIPAA certification (required) High school diploma or equivalent National phlebotomy certification from one of the following (strongly preferred) : ASCP - PBT AMT - RPT NCCT - NCPT ACA - CPT Strong communication and customer service skills; meticulous attention to detail Hospital or high-volume outpatient experience EMR / LIS proficiency and knowledge of quality / safety procedures
Job Description
Join a patient-first hospital laboratory team as a Phlebotomist . You'll perform high-quality specimen collections (venipuncture and capillary) and provide clear collection instructions while maintaining strict privacy and safety standards.
What You'll Do
- Perform venipuncture and capillary draws for patients of all ages
- Provide patient instructions for urine and culture collections
- Positively identify patients; label and handle specimens to SOP / CLIA standards
- Prioritize and route specimens; support timely transport to the lab
- Document accurately in the LIS / EMR; uphold HIPAA at all times
- Deliver compassionate, efficient service in a fast-paced clinical setting
