DACH Sales Senior Manager

Overview

This role reports to the AVP, Global Sales and will lead wholesale expansion for the DACH region, responsible for onboarding brick & mortar retailers, marketplaces, and distributors. This role is based in Germany. We will only consider candidates who currently live in Germany.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year global retailer pipeline for the DACH Region across various industries, including but not limited to technology, sporting goods, and marketplaces, by analyzing retail market trends and conducting in-depth retailer diligence.
• Proactively conduct retailer outreach, create proposals, lead negotiations, and develop an onboarding plan in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Partner with Legal to execute contracts, develop SOPs to address unauthorized resellers, and establish country level wholesale policies.
• Partner with Legal, Accounting, Hardware & SaMD on country level tax certifications, registrations, and packaging requirements by country.
• Owns retailer level assortment, forecasts, sales reporting, inventory, and POs in collaboration with Marketing, Apparel & Accessories, Finance, and Operations.
• Host quarterly business reviews with retailers to review past and forward looking performance, assortment, and marketing levers.
• Collaborate with Strategic Finance on LTV / CAC modeling for the geography.
• Coordinate strategy with DTC country managers to collectively grow the WHOOP membership base.
• Own communications internally with respect to pipeline, retailer launch status, and any bottlenecks impacting progress.
