Job Description Grievance & Labor Relations
Serve as the first point of contact for union grievance intake; triage, investigate, document, and track cases from filing through resolution. Lead discussion and resolution of grievance cases with unions and lead fact-finding. Draft employer responses, settlement agreements, and case summaries; prepare exhibits and witness lists. Maintain grievance logs, metrics, and trend analyses; brief leadership on hotspots and systemic issues to drive prevention.
CBA Compliance & Union Partnership
Interpret and apply collective bargaining agreement provisions (wage, scheduling, seniority, overtime, job bidding, leaves, safety) and relevant policies. Advise on policy application, leaves and accommodations, and corrective action; partner with legal as appropriate. Support recommendations resulting from substantiated investigations involving conduct, harassment, attendance, work performance or safety, coordinating with HRBP, Safety, and Legal.
Analytics, Governance, and Enablement
Support case management tooling and documentation standards; ensure confidentiality and non-retaliation practices.
