About This Position

The Specialist coordinates activities across multiple divisions and stakeholders to drive specification standardization across indirect categories to support Honda Motor's business transformation and sustainability initiatives. This position plays a key role in optimizing procurement processes, reducing complexity, and enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple spend categories.

Responsibilities include :

• Through Specification Development Council forums, facilitates collaboration between internal (NAIP) and external stakeholders to align on standardization objectives, goals, plans and outcomes.
• Analyse spend, usage patterns and SKU proliferation to identify duplication and rationalization opportunities.
• Partner with data and analytics teams to develop dashboards, reports and tools for ongoing standardization tracking.
