Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Provide specialized speech-language pathology services to K-2 students in a dynamic school setting. This contract position is based at a K-12 school located on Holloman Air Force Base, NM, and offers a full-time schedule supporting a high-need caseload within the Tularosa Municipal Schools district.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver speech-language therapy to PreK-2nd grade students, focusing on a diverse population including those with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual disabilities, and low incidence conditions.
  • Support students using AAC devices and work with non-verbal learners.
  • Collaborate with virtual providers and assist in coordinating services to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide itinerant services and adapt therapy plans to meet individual student needs.
  • Engage in professional communication with educators, families, and related service providers.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Credentialed Speech-Language Pathologist with a current New Mexico SLP License.
  • Eligibility for or possession of PED certification.
  • Experience working with pediatric populations, particularly in healthcare, school, or pediatric therapy settings.
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices.
  • Comfortable supporting students with complex communication needs, including autism and intellectual disabilities.
  • Location : Holloman Air Force Base, NM

    Contract Duration : Contract covering the current school year (CSY)
