Descripción del trabajoIdentify students with munication impairments. Collaborate with other educational staff to determine the impact of munication impairment on student progress. Develop and assist in the implementation of instructional and curricular modifications. Provide materials that promote munication development to other educators and families. Participate in student IEP development and implementation. Develop and maintain a caseload intervention schedule providing time for direct and indirect services, classroom collaboration and co-teaching, screenings and evaluations, materials preparation and voice output device programming. Maintain student records and performance data. Supervise speech / language-trained para-educator and graduate students as assigned. Mentor to new speech / language pathologists. Participate as required on Building Student Improvement Teams, speech / language department mittees and projects, special education mittees, projects, or audits. Provide in-service to colleagues. Must plete all Special Education paperwork including IEPs and Medicaid billing. petitive pensation package. Weekly pay. Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Onsite School- Based SLP - San Antonio, TX
Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program required .
- Valid TX State Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a school setting is preferred.
- Strong munication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Location : San Antonio, TX
Employer : Soliant
Dates : 25 / 26 School Year
Full Time - 40 hours / week
Caseload : 60-70 students between 6 campuses that will consist of treats / consults, testing and ARDs / paperwork.
Pay : Hourly, dependent on experience
