About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to join the General Counsel’s office of a leading national construction and engineering company. The successful candidate will provide critical support on contracts, compliance, and corporate matters , helping manage the legal and regulatory framework behind high-profile projects in data centers, semiconductor facilities, healthcare, and industrial sectors .
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Support
- Draft, review, and redline subcontracts, supplier agreements, NDAs, and purchase orders
- Assist with flow-down provisions, change orders, and amendments
- Maintain contract database and track key obligations and deadlines
- Risk & Compliance
- Manage lien and notice calendars across multiple states (particularly Texas and national operations)
- Track and organize certificates of insurance and compliance documentation
- Support OSHA and regulatory compliance reporting in coordination with Safety teams
- Corporate & Entity Management
- Assist with state filings, entity registrations, and annual reports
- Maintain corporate governance records and coordinate with outside counsel as needed
- Project & Litigation Support
- Manage documentation for ongoing projects including commissioning, warranties, and closeout packages
- Support litigation holds, discovery requests, and document production
- General Counsel Office Support
- Maintain legal files and document management systems
- Coordinate with business units, project managers, and executive leadership on legal inquiries
Qualifications
Education : Paralegal Certificate or Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies, Business, or related fieldExperience : 3–7 years’ experience as a paralegal in construction, corporate law, or in-house legal departmentsKnowledge : Familiarity with AIA / ConsensusDocs contracts, lien / notice regimes, and insurance requirements is strongly preferredSkills :
Strong contract review / redlining skills (Word / DocuSign CLM, Adobe, etc.)Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage deadlines across multiple jurisdictionsDetail-oriented with strong communication and interpersonal skillsWhat’s on Offer
