Apartment HVAC Maintenance Technician

We are currently seeking dedicated Apartment HVAC Maintenance Technicians to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for completing work orders, turning over vacant units, and performing other essential tasks. Experience in the apartment industry and HVAC certification are preferred.

Responsibilities :

  • Complete HVAC service requests and repair orders promptly
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Maintain material and supply inventory
  • Ensure the aesthetic appeal of the community
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer service and maintain good resident relations

Qualifications :

  • Previous experience in HVAC maintenance or related fields
  • HVAC certification preferred
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Reliable transportation
  • Professional appearance
  • Proven punctuality and reliability
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Adherence to confidentiality, fair housing laws, and safety requirements
  • Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check

    • Note on Certifications and Licenses :

  • EPA Certification : Required by federal law for technicians who handle refrigerants. It ensures proper handling and environmental safety.
  • HVAC Certification : Demonstrates specialized training and expertise in HVAC operations and services. It is often preferred by employers.
  • HVAC License : A legal authorization to perform HVAC work within a specific jurisdiction, ensuring compliance with local regulations12.
