We are searching for a talented Interpreter - III Languages

Hours : 32 hours

Shift : 11 : 30 p.m. - 7 : 30 a.m. , Night shift with weekends and holiday rotation

Responsibilities

Position reports to the Manager, Interpreter Services or designee. Provide coverage on-site for Interpreter Services as requested. Provide accurate consecutive interpretation. Develop a rhythm of interpretation to enhance the flow of communication between parties. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of encounters.

Qualifications

  • Associate
  • s Degree or equivalent knowledge and experience in a related field is required.
  • Training in medical terminology
  • Interpersonal skills appropriate for handling sensitive patient and / or employee issues.
  • Fluency in four (4) languages required, including English and three (3) assigned languages

    • Cape Verdean Creole

  • Portuguese
  • Spanish
  • One (1) year related experience preferred.
  • Certificate of completion of a 60 hour Medical Interpreter Training program
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.

    • Pay Range

    USD $20.64 - USD $35.22 / Hr.

    Rotation Schedule Requirement

    Friday and Saturday nights and day when needed
