Radiology Technologist Job Description

As a radiology technologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients of all ages. Your duties will include assessing patient condition, operating diagnostic imaging equipment, maintaining proficiency in Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), preparing examination rooms, and ensuring the proper maintenance of equipment, supplies, and medications.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications :

• Graduation from an accredited radiologic technology school with an associate degree or equivalent, or graduation within 6 months.
• Experience is preferred but not required.
• Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligibility, with registration within 1 year of employment.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification, obtained within 7 days of hire.
• SCRQSA license is required.
