The Lead Power BI Dashboard Developer will support enterprise-wide data visualization initiatives. This role involves designing and developing advanced dashboards, mentoring junior developers, building data models, and delivering high-quality reporting solutions to support decision-making and audit readiness. Location:Cayce, South Carolina, United States Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, test, implement, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Lead advanced data visualization initiatives and mentor junior developers.
- Create data models, KPIs, and visualizations to support fiscal reporting and analysis.
- Develop dashboards supporting asset tracking, expenditure rollups, and executive reporting.
- Ensure seamless integration with backend systems and data sources.
- Collaborate with data analysts, system integration teams, and business stakeholders.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation, data dictionaries, and workflow diagrams.
- Produce monthly architecture snapshots and dashboard enhancements as requested.
- Adhere to application development and documentation standards.
- Provide ongoing technical support and issue resolution. Required Skills & Certifications:
- 3+ years of Power BI development experience.
- 3+ years of technical documentation experience.
- 1+ year of project management experience.
- 1+ year of data modelling experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience. Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Graphic design or data visualization design experience.
- Python.
- SQL. Special Considerations:
