Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Clerk

Location : Keithville, LA

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced AP / AR Clerk to join our team in Keithville, LA. This position is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable managing financial transactions in a fast-paced environment. The role includes light collections, vendor communication, and maintaining accurate records using QuickBooks.

Key Responsibilities

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions accurately and timely

Perform light collections and follow up on outstanding invoices

Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies

Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with company policies

Assist with monthly and quarterly reporting

Communicate with vendors and internal teams to ensure timely payments

Support general accounting functions as needed

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in AP / AR or related accounting roles

Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
