Must-Have : Experience in circulating various surgical cases including Orthopedic, Cardiothoracic, Vascular, General, Urology, Robotic, GYN, Colon, Breast, Spine, Podiatry, and Plastic.

Description :

The RN will work in the operating room, which has 13 ORs and one Procedure / Cysto room.

The unit performs an average of 45 surgical cases per day.

Patient types and common diagnoses include Orthopedic procedures such as total hip and knee arthroplasties, as well as spinal surgeries.

General surgeries encompass laparoscopic and open procedures, among others.

Breast surgeries include lumpectomies and skin-sparing mastectomies.

Urology cases involve TURP and cystoscopy procedures, while GYN surgeries include hysterectomies and ovarian cystectomies.

Robotic surgeries are performed for various conditions including cholecystectomies and prostatectomies.

The role requires experience to effectively circulate in these cases.

Support staff includes OR Assistants, receptionists, and anesthesia personnel.

The facility utilizes EPIC for electronic medical records and Alaris IV pumps for medication administration.

The RN will be expected to maintain high standards of patient care during surgical procedures.

Scrub colors will be provided.
