Class A CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsement, must be able to drive a standard / stick shift truck. 80% of the job comprises filling gas tanks at a station, the other 20% would be driving the argon truck to customers. Also on occasion will be driving the Co2 truck to gas stations to refill their Co2 tanks. Must know how to drive both trucks. Looking for someone comfortable driving in Mobile weather (rain / thunderstorms). This person will be going in front of customers, will need to be professional always. Prefers someone with at least 1 year driving a tractor trailer truck of some kind. Heavy lifting is involved. Home every night!
- Driving vehicles to transport hazardous materials
- Inspecting the condition of the vehicle before and after use
- Keeping a log of their activities and the condition of the vehicle
- Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures
- Ensuring that all required safety equipment is available and in working order
- Reporting any incidents or accidents involving hazardous materials
- Loading and unloading of hazardous materials, ensuring they are properly secured
- Conducting safety inspections and maintaining a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
- Receiving instructions regarding the materials to be transported and delivery locations
- Undertaking necessary steps in case of a hazardous spill, including containment and notification of proper authorities
- Maintain and renew required hazmat certifications

Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsementProven experience as a Hazmat DriverKnowledge of local, state, and federal Hazmat transportation regulationsExcellent driving recordStrong physical condition to load and unload cargoExcellent time management and routing planning skillsAbility to handle stressful situationsGood communication and customer service skillsHigh school diploma or equivalent
