About The Position

Job Title : Electrophysiology Technician

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Specialty : Electrophysiology Tech

Duration : 13 or 26 Weeks

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 2 years preferred

License : Valid State License required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, ARRT (R) or RCESS

Must-Have :

Will train a strong Cath Lab Tech clinician to work in EP.

First timers accepted.

On-call required for 3 nights per week for 2 hours per night.

Description :

The Electrophysiology Technician position involves working in a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities include assisting in diagnostic cardiac procedures and electrophysiology cases.

Candidates must demonstrate accurate monitoring, cardiac mapping, and the ability to perform intricate procedures such as catheter insertions and temporary pacemaker placements.

Familiarity with various electrophysiology equipment and techniques is essential.

Candidates may float to the Cath Lab as needed.

This role may involve working with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality patient care.

Travelers should be willing to work on holidays and comply with organizational policies regarding time off.

Clinical skills in recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias and performing advanced cardiac procedures are essential.

Experience with specific charting systems and technologies is preferred.
