$90,000.00 / yr - $120,000.00 / yr

Position Summary : We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to lead our weekend shift operations. This individual will oversee all aspects of production, including scheduling, personnel management, quality assurance, and workflow coordination. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of custom metal fabrication processes, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Manage and lead weekend production operations across machining, laser cutting, press brake / bending, fabrication, assembly, powder coating, and painting departments.
  • Supervise, coach, and support weekend production staff to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
  • Coordinate daily workflow and priorities in alignment with production schedules and plant-wide objectives.
  • Monitor work-in-progress and ensure proper execution of jobs according to specifications.
  • Identify and resolve production issues in real-time; escalate to Plant Manager as necessary.
  • Promote and enforce a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and quality control teams as needed.

Qualifications :

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes including welding, assembly, powder coating, and painting.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage shift-level operations effectively.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of production software or ERP systems preferred.
  • Availability to work a weekend shift schedule (Friday–Sunday or as defined).
