California Licensed Accounting Manager

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager, Operational Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee general accounting operations and ensure the accuracy of financial records

Prepare financial reports, reconcile accounts, and support month-end and year-end close processes

Develop and document accounting policies and procedures to standardize processes and ensure compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (required)

CPA or CMA certification (preferred)

8+ years of progressive experience in accounting, preferably in the insurance environment

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar)

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and complex formulas
