Microbiology Associate

Piper Companies  is currently seeking a  Microbiology Associate  based in  Durham, North Carolina  for work at a leading pharmaceutical company.

This is for the Tuesday – Saturday, 8 : -5PM shift, in-person and the Monday - Friday, 8 : -5PM shift.

Responsibilities of the Associate :

• Conduct quality walk-throughs of the production, testing and warehouse locations
• Collect samples relating to carbon, surface, and air testing, perform gram staining, pH and conductivity testing
• Ensure that all required documents are accurate
• Perform standard testing of all materials perform endotoxin and bioburden testing, microbial enumeration, plating
• Support routine preventive maintenance and calibration of equipment
