Kaiser Permanente is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Thoracic Surgeon to join our collaborative two-surgeon team at Sunnyside Medical Center in Portland, Oregon. We’re looking for a skilled and compassionate physician who is committed to delivering high-quality, comprehensive thoracic care.

What You’ll Do :

You will be part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team providing a broad range of advanced, minimally invasive thoracic procedures, including :

  • VATS and robotic-assisted lobectomies (RATS)
  • Mediastinal mass resections
  • Esophagectomies
  • Paraesophageal hernia repairs
  • Lung biopsies and wedge resections
  • Chest wall resections and reconstructions
  • Substernal goiter resections
  • Bronchoplasty and tracheoplasty

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Board Certified or Eligible in Thoracic Surgery

  • Relocation allowance – up to $15,000

    • The annual salary for this position is $610,700 - $694,000 which considers an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, training, market data, and other relevant factors. In addition to the salary range above, NWP offers rich benefits that add substantial value to the total compensation package.
