TITLE : LITIGATION ASSOCIATE

Job Summary :

Firm X is a mid-sized general practice law firm with offices in the NJ / NY Metropolitan area seeking a Litigation Associate for their Parsippany, NJ office.

Responsibilities :

• Represent clients in civil litigation, administrative proceedings, arbitrations, mediations, and other legal proceedings.
• Overseeing or processing E-filing in State and Federal Courts.
• Negotiate settlements and plea bargains.
• Respond to emergent filings and other client matters
• Draft, review and revise all legal filings including motions, briefs, answers, due process petitions, contracts, resolutions, settlement agreements, and other legal pleadings / documents as required.
