Kitchen Suppression Technician

Job Description

This position is located in Waco, Texas.\n \nThe Technician will be responsible for providing inspections, maintenance, selling, and servicing a variety of fire suppression components including fire extinguishers, kitchen hood fire suppression systems, emergency lights and other fire products in a professional and timely manner.  The Technician will be expected to meet weekly service and productivity goals.  The Technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean, well-organized vehicle and ensuring a safe environment for his / herself, co-workers, and customers.\n \nJOB RESPONSIBILITIES : \n\nManage their time to complete the maximum amount of service calls while maintaining a high level of quality.\nAchieve any weekly productivity goals assigned.\nLearn applicable fire protection codes and obtain the applicable local and / or state licenses.\nProtect and maintain company equipment.\nWork in a safe manner as outlined by company safety procedures including the driving, personal protective equipment, and lockout / tag-out policies.\nMaintain their vehicle in accordance with company procedures and ensure it is clean and organized.\nProtect the Company’s assets.\nPerform any other tasks assigned by the manager.\n\n \nJOB REQUIREMENTS : \n\nPrior experience in Kitchen Hood Fire Suppression (preferred but not required)\nKnowledge of applicable inspection and servicing codes (preferred but not required).\nValid driver’s license and a current and sustainable good driving record.\nA strong work ethic and professional appearance.\nAbility to sell, communicate effectively, and possess excellent customer service skills is highly preferred.\nAbility to learn and comprehend general electrical safety procedures.
