ARMStaffing is seeking a local contract nurse RN Telemetry for a local contract nursing job in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Registered Nurse - Orthopedics (MS / Tele) - Night Shift

Location

This position is located in the United States.

Schedule

Night shifts, 3x12-hour schedule from 18 : 45 to 07 : 15. Assigned to work every other weekend and holidays.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Orthopedic and Med-Surg / Telemetry settings. Responsibilities include management of dysrhythmias, adherence to O2 protocols, non-invasive airway management, and peripheral line care. The RN will be required to float between similar units as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage dysrhythmias and administer O2 protocols.
  • Provide non-invasive airway management.
  • Perform peripheral line care and management.
  • Adhere to isolation precautions and utilize PPE.
  • Activate rapid response teams as necessary.
  • Utilize electronic charting systems, specifically Epic.

    • Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably in MS / Orthopedics.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Experience with electronic charting (Epic).
  • Ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias.
