Overview
We are seeking Deposition Officers (DOs) to capture verbatim records of depositions or other legal proceedings. DOs are not shorthand reporters or stenographers, and no stenographic tools or training are required.
Responsibilities
- Manage proceedings as an independent arbiter of the record
- Swear in witnesses and act as Notary of the State
- Generate a clear and complete recording of the proceeding using high-fidelity audio technology
- Create accurate and detailed annotations of case events and terminology to guide subsequent transcription
