Marketing Manager and Event Coordinator

Our team's mission is to deeply understand the expert experience and drive actions to improve their experiences at Intuit. We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Marketing Manager and Event Coordinator to join our team. This role will be responsible for hosting our experts weekly at our Mountain View office, managing the logistics of their visits as well as collaborating with local mission teams in support of Consumer Group. The ideal candidate will have prior customer service and hospitality experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record in marketing or event management. Some travel will be required for this role. Responsibilities :
Lead expert engagement activities in Mountain View, including :
- Hosting experts and ensuring a welcoming and professional experience
- Creating a personalized experience for each expert
- Supporting sessions, ensuring that events run smoothly and have been organized to the highest standards
- Ability to understand expert roles, process and tools to be able to communicate and support effectively
Scheduling, coordination, and oversight of weekly events, including :
Ensuring the appropriate pre-work to understand study goals are completeActing as a liaison to product, research, and leadership teamsCoordinating with recruitment team for experts for in-person sessionsCoordinating and scheduling sessions with product and service teamsBooking and coordinating travel arrangements for experts including :Hotel reservations and relationship management with local hotel contactsFlight reservationsUber or rental car reservationsManage scheduling, track feedback, and report out status and performance updates for the on-site programCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful event outcomesCoordinating with on site catering and food service teams to support expert visitsOngoing communication with experts and support teamsLocal Experts Support :
Collaborating with Local Mission Teams to coordinate on site-events in support of Consumer Group (CG)Event planning, logistics and supportPartner with Learning and Development for training logistics with CG ExpertsSome travel will be required to alternate Intuit campus locationsProvide additional support to the Expert Experience & Insights team, including :
Support and moderate qualitative researchThis includes building trust with experts, actively listening to their feedback, recording key insights and providing feedback to support teams to drive actionCollect and manage feedback, testimonials, insights, and VOE (voice of the expert)Report out on ongoing expert insights and implicationsPartner with support teams to provide insights and drive actionSpace and Event coordination and managementCoordinating calendar management with teams utilizing the spaceConfiguring and confirming all technology specifications for full space, each room, and each expert are operational prior to and during the experts visitManaging full space to 'event ready' standards, including :TemperatureFurnitureSpace and technology configurationAccessRelationship management with on-site support teams including :SecurityExecutive Assistant TeamEvent PlanningFacilitiesCatering / Food ServicesJanitorial (ABM)Qualifications :
5+ years of professional experience, preferably in event planning, marketing or management, or customer data and insightsBachelor's Degree or equivalentProficient with Google and / or Microsoft Office products (outlook, docs, spreadsheets)Skills :
