Position at Offshore Animal Hospital

Offshore Animal Hospital is looking for a Full-Time Veterinary Client Service Representative to join our exceptional team. We are a thriving primary emergency and urgent care practice for dogs cats pocket pets and exotics in Nantucket MA. . If you are passionate about pets and providing exemplary customer service we want you to join our team!

  • Experience in veterinary hospital preferred
  • Ability to pay close attention to detail and ensure accuracy of payments record entry etc.

  • Ability to communicate with employees and clients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to solve problems

Job Overview :

As a Customer Service Representative yoursmile and enthusiastic greeting are what sets the tone for the clients visit. You will be on the front line of our customer care team assisting clients on a daily basis making sure their needs are not only met but exceeded.

  • Answering phones
  • Schedule appointments and surgical procedures
  • Check-in / out clients
  • Handles basic client complaints
  • Monitor and manage client flow from check-in to discharge
  • Proficiency in the veterinary practice software utilized daily
  • Proficiency in the online platforms used for appointment management
  • Assist in cleaning the hospital including but not limited to : keeping reception desk area and lobby clean and sanitary keeping over the counter product shelves neat and clean
  • Process payment transactions
  • Handle end of day accounting needs
  • Maintain proper documentation in the electronic medical record
  • Handle administrative duties including communication with vendors

    • The ideal candidate will be a reliable strong team player organized computer literate possess a strong work ethic willingness to learn dependable friendly outgoing and self-motivated.
