Patient Access Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Access Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Manage remote patient registration and demographic updates

Perform insurance verification and resolve unbilled encounters

Participate in daily team huddles to report on process performance outcomes

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma / GED or 3 years of relevant experience in lieu of diploma / GED

1-3+ years of relevant experience in healthcare, including billing and collections

Knowledge of medical insurance claims procedures and patient registration documentation

Familiarity with insurance payer portals and real-time insurance eligibility verifications is a plus

Understanding of various health insurance plans such as HMO and PPO
