State Licensed Senior Counsel

A company is looking for a Senior Counsel, Aerospace.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a strategic legal partner to program leadership on business captures, contract execution, compliance, and dispute matters

Review, draft, and negotiate various government and commercial agreements, including contracts, teaming agreements, and intellectual property agreements

Provide guidance on U.S. and international laws and regulations, and deliver training on legal topics for senior leadership and cross-functional teams

Qualifications

12+ years of legal experience, including 5+ years in aerospace, defense, or high-tech sectors

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Active membership and good standing with at least one U.S. state bar

Extensive experience advising on U.S. Government and commercial contracting, including FAR, DFARS, and global trade compliance

Strong background in drafting and negotiating complex contracts and international transactions
