Description :

The Cath Lab is on the cutting edge with new procedures and new technology.

The role of the RN includes direct patient care, conscious sedation, and monitoring.

Documentation will be conducted using a new Hemodynamic system.

Normal working hours are Monday to Friday from 07 : 00 to 17 : 30.

A day off during the week will rotate each week.

There is an expectation of being on call for 8 to 10 days per month.

The normal rotation includes one night a week from 17 : 30 to 07 : 00.

Additionally, there is one weekend in every three weeks with call on Friday from 17 : 30 to 07 : 00, followed by a 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday.

The call team consists of 2 RNs and 1 Radiologist Technologist.

Scrubs and a lead apron are provided for cases.

Team members are supportive and care for each other.

A mix of Radiology Technologists and RNs is present in the Cath Lab.
