Job Title : Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)

Position Type : Full-Time - SPLIT with River Valley in Poughkeepsie - shared position with 2 locations - schedule TBD

Pay Range : $50-53 / hour - based on experience

Key Responsibilities :

• Resident Evaluation & Treatment Planning :  Assess residents' speech and language needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Activity Selection :  Design activities that help residents improve independence in their daily activities.
• Progress Monitoring :  Observe and assess resident performance, adjusting treatments as necessary, and preparing detailed progress reports.
• Rehabilitation Support :  Assist in the rehabilitation of residents affected by injury, illness, or other conditions.
• Maintain a Safe Environment :  Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
• Confidentiality :  Maintain resident confidence by ensuring the secure handling of confidential information.
• Documentation :  Keep accurate and up-to-date records of resident care and progress, auditing department records as necessary.
• Team Collaboration :  Work closely with healthcare teams to contribute to a cooperative and supportive team environment.
