Division : Baker Water Systems AY McDonald Pumps

Reports To : Warehouse Supervisor or Manufacturing Lead

Position Summary :

The AY Submersible Pump Assembler is responsible for assembling submersible pump components to precise specifications at Baker Manufacturings new AY Pump Warehouse. This role supports efficient, high-quality pump production for AY McDonalds aftermarket and OEM product lines. The ideal candidate is hands-on, detail-oriented, and committed to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assemble submersible pump components including motors, shafts, impellers, seals, and other mechanical parts using hand and power tools.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to ensure accurate and consistent assembly.
• Conduct in-process quality checks and perform functional tests on assembled pumps.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly work, component usage, and inspection results.
• Assist with receiving, organizing, and staging components and materials.
• Work collaboratively with warehouse and production teams to meet daily production targets.
• Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives, including 5S, lean manufacturing, and standard work updates.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Monday-Friday 6am-3 : 30 pm

Compensation details : 19-21 Hourly Wage
