Staffing Paraprofessional (Coatesville)

Overview . The position is responsible for supporting students in achieving their educational, social, and emotional goals. Paraprofessionals complement teachers educational efforts by providing direct support and instruction to students throughout the school day.

Essential Job Functions

• Work collaboratively with teachers to support students' growth and development.
• Assist teachers with implementing school-wide and class-wide positive behavior initiatives as appropriate.
• Implement student-specific treatment, teaching, or lesson plans to support students in achieving their academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Support students in completing assigned work and displaying on-task behavior.
• Support students in transitioning from one location or activity to another.
• Support students with activities of daily living as appropriate (e.g., eating, brushing teeth, hygiene, etc)
• Collect data on students' academic, behavioral, and social goals.
