Business Development Manager

Kyocera International, Inc. | Location Flexible

Competitive Compensation : $122,000-$170,000 / year (based on experience, education, and qualifications)

  • About the Role

    As a Business Development Manager , you'll lead a team of sales and marketing professionals to identify and drive new business opportunities that align with Kyocera's technologies and strategic goals. You'll play a key role in market analysis, customer engagement, and cross-functional initiatives that shape the future of our business.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and strategic partnerships
  • Lead cross-functional marketing initiatives (tradeshows, social media, product placement)
  • Conduct market and technology trend analysis
  • Build and maintain senior-level customer relationships
  • Oversee financial reporting and sales performance metrics
  • Mentor and manage a high-performing sales team
  • Represent Kyocera at industry events and conferences
  • Support M&A evaluations and integration planning
  • What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years in marketing / business development, including 5+ years in sales management
  • Proven success in executing business development strategies
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills
  • Experience in product / project management
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; confident public speaker
  • Valid U.S. driver's license and eligibility to work in an ITAR environment
