Account Executive Trainee

Founded in early 2008, Fay Servicing is committed to providing innovative servicing solutions for both residential and business purpose loans. As a specialty mortgage servicer who sees the customer behind every loan, we understand that our customers are not loan numbers they're homeowners.

Before founding our company, we conducted an exhaustive analysis of the mortgage servicing industry and gained valuable insight into the problems facing mortgage servicers and their customers. With that insight, we set out to build a different kind of servicing company from the ground up.

Join us on our journey to serve our customers and be the leader in our industry! We are currently looking for an Account Executive Trainee to join our team!

Reporting to Originations Leadership, this position participates in comprehensive training sessions that cover mortgage industry fundamentals, regulatory compliance, loan products, customer engagement strategies, and the use of loan origination systems to build the competence required for success in a high-volume sales environment. This role is expected to prepare for and pass the NMLS licensing exam within the first 120-days of employment, using knowledge gained through onsite training and self-study, as successful completion of the exam is required for continued employment.

This position shadows licensed Account Executives to learn how to assess borrower profiles, explain loan options, and support the application process while maintaining compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role assists Account Executives in managing loan pipelines and customer communications, with the goal of ensuring timely and efficient loan closings while enhancing the borrower's experience.

Qualifications include :

  • Associate's Degree required; Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance or related field preferred
  • Interest in pursuing a career in mortgage sales and obtaining an NMLS license
  • Previous sales experience with prior call center or customer contact experience preferred
  • Strong financial acumen with a strong aptitude for numbers
  • Strong technical skills with high learning agility for new systems, navigating platforms, and effectively utilizing technologies
  • Strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, sales-driven environment
  • Demonstrable ability to multi-task, self-manage, and self-motivate to drive new business
  • Solid skills and experience in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solid decision-making abilities coupled with sound judgment
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks and manage shifting priorities

  • The hiring range for this position is $29,993.60 annually
