Lead Electronics Repair Technician - Elgin, IL
$48,000 to $50,000 annually plus benefits
We are looking for a Lead Electronics Repair Technician who can fix tablets, computers, and printers.
Job Description :
The Lead Electronics Repair Technician is responsible for overseeing a team of technicians who are diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment.
Key Responsibilities :
- Direct a team of 3 to 8 technicians, responsible for giving them daily work assignments.
- Train others how to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic devices.
- Teach the team how to solder.
- Recommend effective repair solutions.
- Communicate technical issues in a simple manner to other departments.
- Track devices, repairs, and inventory accurately.
- Use the ERP database to maintain repair records.
- Maintain a clean workspace and hold every technician accountable for their tools.
